was graduated from Northeast Financial & Economic University
and People's University of China. He has worked in Jiangsu Assets
Valuation Company as Vice GM and Chief Valuator and for Southeast
University and Nanjing Normal University as an visiting professor.
As the first assets valuator in Jiangsu Province and
one of the first group of valuators in China, Yan Xiaojian has attained
substantial theoretical and practical experiences in assets valuation
and published successively over 80 articles with several hundred
thousands words concerning to assets valuation, economic management
and financial accounting in national or provincial newspapers and
magazines. Besides, he also cooperated with others in writing two
monographs about assets valuation (Assets Valuation Theory and Practice
and Assets Valuation Principle and Cases). He is appointed the expert
of Major Projects Assets Valuation & Audit Team and the member
of Drafting Team of China Assets Valuation Criterion by Ministry
of Finance, and listed in Jiangsu Province's Institute of CPAs .
During the past over ten years of valuing practice,
Yan Xiaojian carried out plentiful assets valuation & training
activities entrusted by former National Assets Management of the
ministry or the province, coaching over 6000 participants for 4000
hours in accumulation, made a great contribution to the pioneering
and development of assets management of our country and Jiangsu
Province and was well known in valuation industry. He also taught
over 250 graduate and post graduate students such programs as assets
valuation and investment management in Southeast University and
Nanjin Normal university.
Additionally, in regard to assets valuation practice,
Yan Xiaojian once organized and led the assets valuation activities
for the first listed companies in Jiangsu Province, such as Jiangsu
Sanshan, Nantong Machine Tool and etc.. And later, he organized
and led lots of important assets valuation projects for many companies,
such as Yangzi Petrochemical Stock Co., Ltd. (listing on A shares
market), Jiangsu Ninghu Expressway Stock Co., Ltd. (listing on H
shares market); Jiangsu Hongtu High Technology Stock Co., Ltd. (listing
on A shares market); Nanjing Jinling Pharmaceutical Stock Co., Ltd.
(listing on A shares market); and Wuhan Petrochemical, Yizheng Chemical
Fibres and East China Petroleum (listing overseas of Sino-Pec),
with the total value of assets valued for over RMB 300 billion.

This is a book addressing completely and systematically the basic
theory and methods of assets evaluation published by Weapon Industry
Press in 1991. The author details numerous methods of assets valuation
and various relevant cases during practical operations in the book
and described the history and current situation of assets valuation
development in foreign countries.
2. Assets Valuation Principle and Cases
This is a book of assets valuation published by Central-South Finance
University in 1994. In this book, various theories and methods of
assets valuation and the preconditions and cautions of practical
application for these methods are introduced completely and systematically,
based on the summary of valuation theory and practical experiences
over past years in China. The book highlights the application of
all methods in practical operations.
